Christina Asquith is a journalist and teacher with 10 years experience.
Her articles on education have been published in The New York
Times, The Economist, The Chronicle of Higher Education and The
Philadelphia Inquirer. She has co-authored articles with Dr. Harry
Wong, author of the bestselling teacher guide: “The First
Days of School.” She has an BA from Boston University. She
also holds a Masters in educational philosophy and policy from
The London School of Economics. She currently lives in Washington
DC.
Ms. Asquith’s portfolio includes international work. For
nearly two years she lived and worked in Iraq on assignment for
The New York Times covering the post-war effort to rebuild the

Ms. Asquith is also a guest lecturer. In 2005, she was a distinguished
William Morris guest lecturer at Texas Tech University. This same
year she spoke to classrooms at The State University of New York,
